Swarrnim Startup And Innovation University Signs MoU With British University Of Vietnam

With a view to collaborate for student and faculty exchange, cultural immersion and joint research, Gandhinagar-headquartered Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University (SSIU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vietnam-headquartered, British University of Vietnam (BUV).

The two universities have joined hands to facilitate student exchange, faculty exchange, cultural immersion, study trips, collaborative projects and research work, joint training programmes and other collaborative events like workshops and conferences among others.

The exchange of the MoU took place between Professor Vijay Kumar, Director, International Collaboration of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University and Prof. Rick Bennett, Deputy Vice Chancellor and Vice President, British University Vietnam (BUV). BUV is the first and only international university in Vietnam granted to deliver degrees by four renowned universities in the United Kingdom, namely University of London, Staffordshire University, University of Stirling, and Arts University Bournemouth.

Commenting on the development, Adi Jain, Vice President, Swarrnim Startup, and Innovation University, said, “This collaboration is a moment of pride for our university. At Swarrnim, we constantly strive to nurture new ideas among students and provide them a conducive atmosphere to undertake research and innovations. This collaboration with BUV will further enhance prospects of our students for undertaking research and innovation at an international level. Such exchanges also provide platforms for promoting interactions and meaningful collaboration among students.”
