MindX, a Vietnamese education firm, has secured $15 million in Series B funding, led by private equity fund Kaizenvest, with participation from Thailand’s Aksorn, Japan’s Mynavi, and Wavemaker Partners. The company also continues to receive debt financing from the Beacon Fund, which supports women-owned and women-led businesses in Southeast Asia.
The latest funding will be used to expand MindX’s product and service portfolio and connect Vietnamese tech talents with employers in the US and Europe. MindX runs an online platform that offers virtual or in-person classes to prepare Vietnamese users for technology careers. Since its founding in 2015, over 35,000 students have graduated from MindX, and the company has partnered with over 200 companies in countries like Singapore, Australia, and Thailand to help students find jobs.
In addition to coding, MindX offers courses in other in-demand technology-related skills such as blockchain, data analytics, and UI/UX design. The new funding comes more than a year after MindX raised around $3 million in Series A funding in November 2021, led by Wavemaker Partners.
