RuPay JCB Cardholders Enjoy 25% Cashback Across Eight Asian Destinations: RuPay, India’s leading global card payment network, has announced an exciting cashback offer for its cardholders in partnership with JCB International Co. Ltd., the international subsidiary of Japan’s top payment brand JCB.

Starting June 15 until August 31, 2025, RuPay JCB Debit and Credit cardholders can avail 25% cashback on in-store purchases across Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong. To qualify, cardholders need to complete at least two transactions in these countries. The maximum cashback per transaction is ₹1,500, with a total cap of ₹15,000 per card during the offer period.

Commenting on the launch, Kunal Kalawatia, Chief of Products at NPCI, said, “As RuPay expands internationally, this collaboration with JCB shows our commitment to delivering seamless and rewarding payment experiences in key Asian travel destinations. With travel booming, our cashback offer empowers RuPay JCB cardholders to spend smartly and gain greater value.”

With JCB’s wide global acceptance, RuPay JCB cardholders can now enjoy 25% cashback on face-to-face purchases while exploring vibrant local markets and premium retail stores. RuPay JCB enhances every shopping moment, allowing travelers to create unforgettable memories abroad.”

RuPay’s initiative comes at a time when outbound tourism is witnessing a strong revival. The offer aims to encourage smarter spending and position RuPay JCB as a trusted global payment companion for Indian travelers.
